2007 Convention
San Antonio, Texas...What a great convention!
Our 11th Annual Convention started off interesting enough. Texas welcomed us with tornadoes and thunderstorms. The weather was forecast to be ugly all week. Fortunately, the weather cleared the day of arrivals, and was beautiful the entire time we were there. The threatening weather chased a few attendees off, but we ended up with over 200 people, representing over 44 PC-12 owners and operators, and 28 vendor booths. Atlantic Aviation ended up with 33 beautiful PC-12s on the ramp.The Westin Riverwalk was beautiful; food was excellent, and our off-site dinner at Boudro’s was well received. The agenda was packed full of useful information, and offered some new and interesting topics.
Our Guest Speaker, Anousheh Ansari’s the first female private space explorer), presentation was enthralling and inspiring to all. Looking around the room as she spoke, I could see you all would have jumped at the chance to experience her voyage. If you missed her, you missed one of our best Keynote Speakers to date.
A sincere thank you to all the Service Centers and Pilatus for the continuing annual sponsorship and to all the convention sponsors and vendors for their participation. We wouldn’t be able to host such a successful convention without all of your support.

"Each year, everyone at Pilatus looks forward to the POPA convention. Not only is it a chance to catch up with old friends and welcome many new ones, but it’s a great venue for us to share important information about Pilatus and the PC-12. The convention is also a superb place for us to get face-to-face feedback from the POPA membership on everything we do. The 2007 POPA convention in San Antonio was no exception. From its behind-the-scenes look at the Next Generation PC-12, to the discussions about prioritizing upgrades for existing PC-12s, to the hands-on walk arounds with a Pilatus Field Service Engineer, and all the other great programs on this year's itinerary, it was a fantastic event.
