Palm Coast, Florida...A beautiful location and a great convention!
Our 12th Annual Convention is now in the record books; and based on participant feedback it was a success! We once again had over 200 attendees. This represents over 40 owners and operators. Flagler County Airport reported 27 PC-12s, a couple Pipers, two Cessna, and a Bonanza on the tarmac. It was quite an impressive display of aircraft.
Ginn Hammock Beach Resort was a spectacular location. The weather was beautiful, thrilling all those who chose to participate in our first all-comers Golf Outing Thursday preceding our two day meeting. It also allowed us to have two wonderful receptions outside on the Grand Event Lawn, one being punctuated with a picture perfect view from the beach of the Space Shuttle launch. To top off our choice of venue, the food and accommodations were extraordinary (with the one exception of a false fire alarm in the wee hours our last night), as was the staff.
San Antonio, Texas...What a great convention!
The 2007 POPA Convention has come and gone! We made it! The saying, "Don't Mess With Texas"... they tried! We had tornadoes and thunderstorms before and after... but she gave us perfect weather in between. Atlantic Aviation welcomed over 33 PC-12s and did an excellent job. We had over 200 attendees this year, representing 44 PC-12 owners, pilots and guests. Twenty-eight vendors joined us this year.
2006 Convention Wrap-Up
POPA just celebrated their 10th anniversary annual Convention in Squaw Valley, California on June 1-2-3. The convention was held at the Squaw Creek Resort located at the foot of Squaw Valley, with views of surrounding mountains that were second to none. Squaw Creek Resort was fabulous and provided us with elegant room accomodatoins and convention facilities.
2005 Convention Wrap-Up
POPA had their 9th annual Convention in Kansas City, Missouri in late April. The Convention was held at the Fairmont Kansas City located adjacent to the famous Country Club Plaza, a Kansas City Landmark. The Plaza has over 120 stores and restaurants and kept the POPA Companions very busy during the convention. The Fairmont was a wonderful location and provided us with elegant room accommodations, as well as convention facilities.
2004 Convention Wrap-Up
Our 8th Annual Convention was in Colorad Springs, Colorado at the world famous Broadmoor Hotel. Colorado Aviation was the host FBO. Prior the convention, many members went to PilBAL in Broomfield, CO for a facility tour that included a barbeque lunch and a guided tour of the completion facilities and offices in Broomfield. This was an exceptional tour that gave us an opportunity to see where our aircraft are completed and become ready for customer delivery.
